If you get into the habit of icing down minor injuries after you play you'll be amazed how much it helps recovery and keeping an ice pack and wrap in your bag just makes it easy and not a hassle.
All told the Grand Slam Board on paper at least got a lot right with these changes. It is sure to be an adjustment for all and much will also depend on how strictly some of these changes are enforced.
